  Dear Sergei,
  The price of water in Algeria is 6.30 dinars per cubic meter (0.05478 Euro). This is the base price. Then intervene multiplier coefficient as a function of the quarterly consumption band. For example, the first tranche corresponds to a consumption which varies up to 25 cubic meters per quarter. The multiplier is 1. The second tranche corresponds to the consumption range of 26 to 55 cubic meters per quarter for which  the multiplier is 3.25. The third tranche varies from 56 to 82 cubic meters per quarter for which the multiplier is 5.5. The fourth tranche corresponds to a consumption higher than 82 cubic meters per quarter. The multiplier is 6.5.

  About 2 Euro per cubic meter drinking water; doubled by the same amount for drainage/sewage, therefore in effect 4 Euro per cubic meter. The water is pumped/sold by the municipality (local government). I am allowed to pump non-drinking water within my own parcel (irrigation, laundry). Location: lowland Germany with groundwater tables close to the surface in cover sands.

  In Germany, water prices differ from town to town. In Lauda-Königshofen (State of Baden-Württemberg), we pay EURO 1,95 per cubic metre of water, plus EURO 3,10 per cubic metre sewage (which is calculated by an extremely complicated formula), plus EURO 0,41 per square metre ground and year for rainfall. The water and sewage facilities are provided by the municipality.
