The past 2015 was a year of a lot of work for our union. New union branches and tactics of 
struggle that have bet, direct action, led us to keep the pulse of a very dignified manner 
with very important companies such as DHL or Hotelels Catalonia were implemented. Upon 
completion of the year, the balance of the conflicts that have been very positive, staying 
in many cases the unions and having achieved a position of legitimacy in the face of 
coworkers and strength in the face of the companies themselves. ---- We believe with 
humility we have shown that a small union is able to put on the ropes giants of the 
business world. And most importantly, we have managed to do so on the basis of fighting in 
the street, pickets, sabotage, assemblies, strikes ... It is true that on many occasions 
we have had to support the legal way to solve our conflicts, but it is also true that the 
weight of our union struggle has gone on direct action, reducing legal efforts to a minimum.

For us not only care about winning conflicts, also it matters how you win. It's useless to 
accumulate favorable rulings if we fail to organize workers on the basis of a conscience 
and some revolutionary ideas. And that organization, that force, is woven into the 
everyday, in the complicity of struggles, not in offices.

The raison d'etre of the CNT-AIT is the workers' struggle, so it is normal that we are 
present wherever there are conflicts. We do not forget our role in the class struggle and 
are aware that our attitude often leads to repression either by the companies through a 
layoff, or by the State through an arrest or conviction. However, we believe that the path 
to freedom is not free of risks and assume with determination and firmness.

Then we make a brief summary of the most important conflicts that originated in 2015 and 
maintain active today:

- DHL - Freight: The giant transport and DHL logistics often uses subcontractors to 
generate a template for cheap labor and with conditions very precarized work, evading any 
responsibility to them as they are hired by other companies . This situation, which is 
seriously detrimental to workers, was the reason why our union branch started the fight in 
the workplace of DHL in the port of Barcelona which resulted in the dismissal of all our 
partners. Since then they have been carrying out actions against the company and its 
executives, who flatly refuse to reinstate the dismissed workers. The conflict has spread 
throughout the state and many countries, highlighting the actions carried out in Germany 
and Argentina by FAU and FORA organizations, sections of the International to which is 
also attached the CNT. DHL company recently filed a complaint against the CNT in the High 
Court regarding this conflict. Once the trial concluded, we left acquitted. In recent 
months, the conflict against DHL has spread to other companies and currently is conducting 
a campaign against precarious work in the Port of Barcelona. Through the issue of DHL

direct labor practice. Today the company is bewildered, and facing a more than expected 
reinstatement of a worker who has never ducked his head and that despite being fired has 
maintained a presence at the level of fighting every week of the conflict. The truth is 
that medical transport conditions require an organized and forceful response from the 
workers. Today's climate of fear and demobilization, so the reinstatement of our partner 
is essential to unblock this situation and encourage colleagues to fight.

- EUREST - COMPASS GROUP: this multinational is responsible for managing many canteens in 
Barcelona and worldwide. One is the social dining Navas, owned by the City of Barcelona, 
which has outsourced the service through this company. As usual, the service outsourcing 
carried a degradation of working conditions, so a group of fellow who worked there decided 
to establish a struggle for the dignity of their jobs.

our union branch for demanding decent working conditions. Today, after years of conflict, 
the attitude of the company has changed significantly, and the activity of the section has 
been normalized. This is the result of perseverance and the strength at the time of 
responding to harassment and proliferation sanctions against our peers. Facing the 
employees of the company we have become a benchmark of struggle and determination, and we 
have made significant improvements for all conditions. Today, after layoffs, sanctions, 
harassment and repression, the CNT is established and active in the company.

- Zaatar Vegetarian: undoubtedly the most extravagant conflict we have ever faced. It 
started with a claim for amounts by two companions affiliated to the CNT of Badalona, 
which finally resulted were paid. The result of this victory, another classmate decided to 
stand up to an abusive and unfair dismissal by the company, which left him owe several 
thousand euros. Once the conflict started we saw the spirit of the entrepreneur, such Eli 
Cohen, who did not hesitate to confront our pickets in a very violent manner. This 
situation led us to note the reality that restaurant workers lived: insults, threats and 
even physical abuse. There was a time when the employer mess smacks literally peer of a 
picket. Finally, after months of conflict, we learned that the employer had closed the 
business and had left the country, leaving unpaid workers who remained. A few weeks ago

- Taxi Barcelona: Catalonia Hotels conflict led to a major victory for the taxi sector:

fight against exploitation in the companies, taxi drivers strike against UBER ... In

address the complex problems faced by workers in the taxi.

- El Corte Ingles: certainly the fattest fish that we faced last year. The multinational 
run by the Falangist Dimas Gimeno is the perfect example of right-wing macho capitalism. 
Accumulate sentences for wage discrimination against women, promotes a misogynist and 
homophobic policy sales, coerces workers to strike or do not organize, promote own style 
of Franco vertical union unions have networks and contacts with highest levels of state 
and senior police officers involved in the repression of strikers ... It is the symbol of 
the ruthless capitalism commerce. All this has led us to promote a boycott campaign

forward with firmness that gives us the knowledge that we are going in the right direction.

Originally from Daech ago the Iraq war started in 2003 under the aegis of the United

Raqqa becomes the unofficial capital of EIIL who in June 2014, launched his troops to 
Mosul, in northern Iraq. The city is taken almost without fighting following the mass

On 29 June 2014, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the emir of EIIL proclaims the Caliphate on a 
territory of about 200 000 km² straddles Syria and Iraq. It is this state jihadist who is
