We received the information, that yesterday (21.12.15) about 70 boats arrived in North Lesvos and about 24 in south-east lesvos. usually between 40 and 50 people are in a boat and this means, that yesterday only in Lesvos probably more than 4000 people arrived again.
The UNHCR gives a number of 3900 for yesterday and even more than 5200 people for 20.12.15, who arrived in Piräus (as sum of all Greek islands), see:
These numbers are like summertime and so far no winter decrease.
And obviously at least until now the interventions from Turkish authorities remain limited or very punctual…
And thus we can expect still high numbers for next days on the whole Balkanroute.
