From the Publishers Desk: Taking Stock and Looking Ahead
It’s just like yesterday that we started the 2015 journey and already we are at the end, about to embark on a new one in a short while. We can only be grateful for how far we have come this year. Our metamorphosis into Ekocity magazine has been a tremendous success and we are thankful to those who have stuck with us through thick and thin. Next year will be better is all I can say.
This edition rounds up the year and fittingly we look at the end product of the ministerial search by President Buhari. He finally announced his cabinet and this had a very mixed reception. We look at the key individuals in this team as well as the expected focus of the ministries. It is quite the breakdown. Also, there are a few tributes to some political figures; one the giant behind the emergence of the APC juggernaut, the other a budding colossus in his own rights.
There is something on the new Ooni of Ife to add a bit of cultural spice to this edition. As usual, we have our interviews with people in the IT community, as well as our regular Oil and Gas news along with some event pictures. We introduce our Instagram Photo News in this edition and we hope you like it.
