  • Воздействие синтетических поверхностно-активных веществ и смесевых препаратов на моллюсков, используемых в аквакультуре.

  • Title:
    Effects of the synthetic surfactants and chemical mixtures on marine mollusks used in aquaculture
  • Author: Ostroumov , S.A. , Lomonosov Moscow State Univ.;
  • Description: Effects of several synthetic surfactants and chemical mixtures, which are among aquatic pollutants, on marine mollusks were studied. An anionic surfactant, sodium dodecylsulphate (SDS), and a cationic surfactant, tetradecyltrimethylammonium bromide (TDTMA) Inhibited filtering activity of the oysters (Crassostrea gigas). Similar effects were produced by some chemical mixtures that included synthetic surfactants. Those mixtures inhibited filtering activity of the oysters Crassostrea gigas and mussels Mytilus galloprovincialis. The new results are in agreement with the author previous experiments, where a number of xenobiotics and pollutants inhibited the filtering activity of several species of marine and freshwater bivalves. This experiment is helpful in assessing the environmental hazards from chemicals that can contaminate marine ecosystems and decrease the water quality that is a necessary prerequisite for aquaculture ; Summaries (En, Ru ) ; 3 tables ; 3 ill., 20 ref. ; p. 92-94
