A powerful American anti-gay group is trying to spread their hate to Colombia. The multi-million dollar Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) is trying to block loving lesbian, bi and gay Colombian couples from marrying.
Support for equality is building in Colombia. And in less than a week, the country's top court could decide to finally grant marriage equality. But now the ADF is hitting back: they sent a team of anti-gay advocates to a recent hearing, trying to persuade the court to rule against love.
The court has invited global voices to feed in to the case. So a petition signed by thousands of us from all over the world could overpower the ADF’s campaign of hate. We'll join a huge outcry in Colombia and make sure love wins.

An anti-gay advocate from the ADF said to Colombia’s top court that the state must intervene to make marriage about procreation between a man and a woman. Previously, the ADF has lobbied against women’s rights and the rights of lesbian, gay, bi and trans people in Mexico, Chile, Argentina and Paraguay.
To make their decision on marriage equality, Colombia's top court has asked for opinions from international groups: everyone from the United Nations Human Rights Office to a former chief justice of South Africa’s Constitutional Court were invited to testify. Unfortunately, the ADF was also invited to argue against equality.
The court promised to come to a decision by the end of August. So we only have a few days left to counteract the ADF’s campaign of hate with a giant outpouring of support for equality. Click here to AUTOMATICALLY sign your name:
We’ve been fighting the ADF for months. Back in April, 1,300 All Out members chipped in a few dollars, pounds or euros to supercharge our fight against this powerful group. When we heard that Marriott was hosting their training conference, over 50,000 of us spoke out. Thanks to our outcry, Marriott confirmed their commitment to equality. Now we need to stop the ADF before they crush equality in Colombia
