Short overview on successful actions of #DirectAction student #syndicate in
#Ukraine. ---- Syndicate activists received apply from students of few universities in
#Kharkiv. Administration of these universities pressure contract form of #education
to break acting contract and sign new one. It means increasing of student fee every year
(acting contracts consists constant fee for all education term). Direct action militants
organized solidarity action in #Kyiv in front of Ministry of education and handed
letter with demands on September 29th (http://goo.gl/9Xm4vW). Next day administration of
#Kharkov State Academy of Culture put a pamphlet on information desk
(http://goo.gl/2AgdeZ). It says that all acting contracts are valid and there is no need
to sign new ones. Also administration ask students to support reputation of Academy and
not spread information about this incident. It means that administration did afraid of
public selforganized students action.
On September 30th syndicate militants did participate in protest rally in front of
#Healthcare ministry in #Kiev. Togather with students of Bohomolets National Medical
University they protested against corruption in university (http://goo.gl/rpCBNQ). They
demanded dismissal of university rector Amosova. In one week their demand was succeed
(http://goo.gl/uyQBJn). Either Direct action activists notice that student protest was
organized not completely on grassroots level and call students not to trust politicians
and bureaucrats.
Both situations are still going on and student syndicate monitores it.
