TASS: Militants’ field commanders suggest local truce to Syrian troops — Russian General Staff

The main forces of the militants in Syria have lost the fighting capacity, militants are fleeing to Jordan and Turkey.

MOSCOW, October 22. /TASS/. Certain field commanders of terrorists in Syria suggest to the Syrian government forces local truces, head of the Main Operations Directorate of the Russian Armed Forces’ General Staff Andrey Kartapolov said Thursday.

"Certain field commanders are starting getting in touch with Syrian troops units with suggestions on local truces and holding talks," Kartapolov told journalists.

According to the officer the main forces of the militants in Syria have lost the fighting capacity, their logistics system has been destroyed.

WNU Editor: Too early to tell if the Syrian rebel movements are losing their fighting capacity as well as facing mass desertions. I suspect that we will only know by the end of this winter on how successful (or not) Russia's intervention in Syria has been.
