Parthian graves found in northern Iran
Archaeological excavations in a cemetery in Vastmin in Kiasar, a small town in the northern Province of Mazandaran, have turned up 60 graves dating back to the Parthian era.
Some of the skeletons found in the graves are in fetal and supine positions, the Research Center of Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization reported.
