WEDNESDAY 28         FOCUS JAZZ - BLUES SWING HAMMOND ORGAN ORG4NOLOGY Julien Gillain (organ, piano), Timothé Le Maire (trombone), Julien Marga  (guitar), Thomas Vasseur (drums) ORG4NOLOGY, a new quartet created in the Brussels Jazz Collective, is a celebration of the Hammond Organ and its unique sound. These jazz cats from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, influenced by John Scofield, Larry Goldings and many others, will play some compositions and jazz standards, revisited through the lens of their own universe. Gypsy Flames Once a month, we celebrate a “mid-week” moment of music flames and burning “thé slave”… in the company of some of our best gypsy performers…  (René Sopa – accordion, Mario Cavaliere - guitar, René De Smaele - trumpet)  From  8.30 to 10.30, two sets of qualitative, crafted and positive swing gypsy jazz, made famous in the 30ies by Django Reinhardt… And the presence of famous René Sopa at the accordion. One of the best bands of the kind since decades. Their new CD, and concert programme, is made of refined crafted arrangements of some of the best standards of jazz.
