how this is identified as a Porsche and not a VW is something I don't know, but Dennis knew to look for the generator, oil fill, fuel pump, Zenith carb and Bosch mag, all Porsche items. The clincher is the side view which show the much bigger Porsche heads (I can't see that, but I don't know what to look for in the below image to find the heads).
