Snowie has been a little under the weather recently, she's been to the V.E.T. and had a few tests and everything came back normal. Howeffur she is still not gaining any weight and has a bit of a runny tummy, so we were wundering if any of or pawesome furrpals had any idea's.
The P.A. has been giving her probiotics etc... to help the situation but even these don't seem to be helping that much.
She is 16 now, and effurytime she sees the P.A. go towards to laundry [that's our kitty kitchen] she goes rushing off ahead and asks fur more food - she is constantly hungry even though her thyroid is fine.
We did have a notion that she may have a little bit of age related dementia and can't remember when she last ate as the vet V.E.T. seems somewhat flummoxed. Apart from her weight loss she fine in herself and the weight loss has occurred slowly since April 2014.
Does anypurrdy have any idea's on what to do now? As the P.A. doesn't want to 'mess' with her - carting her off fur constant trips fur further tests and the stress it will cause her... The P.A. feels that it will have a negative impact on her health and that's the last thing we want fur Snowie.
Thanks in advance
Basil & Co xox
