The World Climate Summit (Cop21) will come to nothing. The major political and economic
decision makers who may not want to meet them both, reduce emissions of greenhouse gases,
and "revive growth", their obsession. To stop global warming, it will actually change the
system. So ask the question that angry: the ownership of the means of production and
exchange. ---- On the occasion of the 21st United Nations Climate Conference to be held in
a few months and is expected to boost the international effort against the greenhouse
effect and global warming, governments and capitalists are deploying all their energy to
prove the system - political, economic - is capable of reform up to the challenge: be
limited to a global warming of 2 ° C and avoid the worst effects of climate change.

But for part of the population (and even NGOs participating from inside) are the lies they
themselves do not take. Negotiations, false solutions, incentives, anything that wants to
remain compatible with capitalism can only ring true, since capitalism is the origin of
the ecological crisis, as it is causing increasing wealth gaps between classes social.

Negotiations that will not change

The analyzes of the draft of the future agreement the Paris show its weakness against the
recommendations of scientists in lowering emissions.

Of the two flagship commitments that should be taken, the text says nothing: leave 80% of
the oil remaining in the ground; limit emissions of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions to 44
gigatonnes by 2025 (half of current emissions), 35 in 2050.

And recent political routs that prefigure the conference - G7 in June 2015, Climate summit
in July and territories - confirm that, on this issue as on others, there is little
waiting. the international fund for climate adaptation and victims contains only a tenth
of the $ 100 billion promised by the states.

Finally (but this is not new since it is in the genetic code of the negotiations for the
Kyoto Protocol) agreements consist primarily at promoting profitable solutions to
financial capitalism:

the pursuit of carbon markets (in fact allowing companies to pollute if they "compensate"
by often dubious environmental projects) false solutions consisting in "value" of claiming
protect ecosystems (forests and oceans then become carbon sinks which can assess the
value, and on which one can speculate) or the promotion of "renewable energy" which are
only in appearance (biofuel, biomass etc...)
Mobilize society, organize resistance

The population is mobilized therefore quite right not to grant any confidence in the
December negotiations. But the claims, as well as the solutions proposed by the various
movements, not based necessarily on a genuine political consensus.

With the climate and GHGs as angle of attack, a large part of citizen campaigns logically
cover disinvestment or abandonment of fossil fuels (calls from NGOs like the "ordeal of
the people for the climate" or the more Recent against "climate crime") and on the
necessary relocation of the economy and production, and of course the political
transformations that shape these readjustments.

But it is not only the globalization of trade, and unbridled competition between the
powers that generate the climate crisis and the ecological crisis in general.

As for the inability of States, it is not only due to a sovereignty deficit on multinationals.

For us, it is the central dogma of compulsory growth mechanically imposed on any economic
activity to compress costs, the cost of men and natural resources. Changing the system
therefore does not only mean "de-globalize" or regulate the market, even proactively.
Changing the system means to actually take back the power of decision, including the
consequences, and for that it is the property of the means of production must regain it.

Politicize the debate without yielding to the sirens of sovereignism

Some believe there by reappropriating of expertise (from agricultural production to that
of energy), building alternative economies and human scale based on shared principles
(local currencies amap, fablab...).

If these efforts are significant and nourish the connection between social and ecological
dimension and if necessary advantageously lead a cultural battle, we doubt the efficacy of
"mass" of the spread of ideas by the fact.

Both because the capitalist actors eyeing the social economy (to convert them sometimes,
or to make a safety valve), that because these initiatives are sometimes restricted to
certain social classes, without being useful to the large mass.

These efforts are inadequate against the source of the ecological crisis: capitalism. and
as the survival of the majority of us, and the world's workers depend on the same system,
create the conditions for that to change means collecting the collective ownership of a
certain number of things.

We believe that we must fight hard for a radical social ecology and away from solutions of
"greenwashing" hackneyed by governments, enterprises and the media:

large-scale biomass is not an ecological solution because it imposes an industrialization
of agriculture biofuels will not replace oil as they are produced with pesticides, and
pesticides are petroleum products deep geothermal endangering the solidity of the soil and
uses the same techniques as the extraction of shale gas Nuclear is not clean energy:
uranium mining, reprocessing and storage of waste, accidents... a hybrid car is not
environmentally friendly, as it is highly polluting to produce and difficult to recycle.
All these false solutions have in common to serve the interests of large industrial groups.

Faced with the hypocrisy of governments subject to economic interests and face the lies of
those who fatten destroying the planet, alternative projects can only be part of the solution.

It will not change things without directly confronting the capitalist mode of production
and social transformation without proposing a project breaking with the current system. We
promote a libertarian communist society, free of the devastating private interests and
based on pooling and collective management of the means of production. The ecological
emergency is the output of capitalism.
