WEDNESDAY 16    FOCUS JAZZ Marco Llano Trio meets Karyatidh Ensemble   Marco Llano (trumpet, compositions, arrangements), Ramon Van  Merkenstein (bass),Lei Miao (drums) + Isabelle Dunlop, Marie-Agnes  Gruber (violin), Ian-Elfinn Rosiu (cello) … Marco Llano releases an EP mixing a modern jazz pianoless trio with the classical string quartet Kariatidh. Under the influence of  composers as Phillip Glass, Piazzolla, Metheny or Jobim, ,this project  creates the soundtrack of an odyssey from the Mediterranean sea to  the city lights of Tokyo. An unexpected soundscape through Modern  Jazz, World Music and Classical. TICKET :  7.50€ THURSDAY 17    JAZZ ROCK-FUSION Massimo Formica & Transfuzion Band Massimo Formica (guitar), René Zap (saxophone), Marcus Weymaere (drums), Pat Calvin (bass) Of Italian origin, Massimo Formica joined the big boys - such as Aldi  Miolia -although he still considers Mike Stern to be his main Inspiration.  He formed a jazz rock group, "Transfuzion", using mainly original  numbers but equally adapting his performance to the sounds of some of his favourite masters, such as Mike Stern and John Scofield. He interprets their music in a daring and exciting style.....  must be seen and heard... a resounding sound by a great Master! TO BE DISCOVERED ! He will be supported by some of our best “jazz heroes”… TICKET : 16-18€ SATURDAY 19    AMERICAN SWING SINGER Deborah Carter & the Johan Clement Trio Deborah Carter (vocal), Johan Clement (piano), Bart Denolf (bass), Luc Vanden Bosch (drums) Vocalist Deborah J. Carter is one of the most dynamic vocalists on the  jazz scene. She was born in the U.S.A. and grew up in Hawaii and Japan. She travels extensively performing in jazz festivals, jazz clubs,  seminars, radio and TV showsthrough Europe and Asia. Deborah loves  to sing the great jazz classics (Ellington and the American Song Book)..
