Dear friends, 2,504 of us have chipped in to help get Samir and two other refugees into safe housing, away from the horrific attacks homeless gay and trans refugees face when on the run from the Islamic State (ISIS). Now, safe in a place to call home, Samir has a message to you: Samir came to Lebanon seeking refuge from ISIS, but without refugee housing options for gay people, was left homeless and vulnerable to unthinkable violence. Now, thanks to your donations, he finally has a safe place to call home. This is the power of people like you: when we stand together, we can change people’s lives.
