The Fun is just Beginning because nothin is as it seems to be.

Analyze Chris Christie's career and you will find that he spend 6 years in non public, non political employment.  He raised funds for Bush and poof he was US Attorney for NJ.  US Attorney is a high profile position and it allowed for the spring board for governor.  His term as governor of NJ has hardly been stellar.  So why is my governor even running for President.

Christie trained to be a lawyer, and was one for 6 years, a practicing lawyer in a law firm.  Being a lawyer is not an easy job. Many find that out early on and decide that they would be better off being a judge, or a US Attorney where the paychecks come weekly regardless of rainmaking or performance.

Hillary Clinton spent her entire career in similar fashion. Little to no real experience outside the artificial atmosphere of the political arena.  Her money deals and deal history should have sent her to the round file months ago.  How she remains viable is  a big mystery.

Marco Rubio didn't even stop at the BAR  before jumping into the political life. Political life can and does frequently make for a rather well to do lifestyle.

Robert Menedez the embattled US Senator from NJ with well off friends had a nice time of vacationing in the Dominican Republic.   His friends benefited by contracts worth hundreds of millions of dollars.  His eye doctor pal billed medicare and incredible amount of money.

So when the pundits and politicians and media talking heads start railing against one candidate in particular, it is time to listen closely to what that candidate is saying.  Nothing it seems is as it seems to be.

In this campaign cycle they took off after Rand Paul, Ben Carson, Michael Huckabee and now Donald Trump.  Trump has drawn the most attention and hysterical opposition.  What do these people fear.  I think they fear that his comments will rally the people to a new form of governance, and we simply can not interfere with the established form of order.

Trump the animated and loudly outspoken candidate engendered some form of primal fear amongst the punditry, the media and now even the party.  So he is really the one to listen to.  He is examining political life from an entirely different perspective.  His comments regarding Mc Cain have offended many, but many have failed to listen to the entirety of the comment.  Part of what Trump was saying tw the public was that Mc Cain criticized people for having a view that ran contrary to those held by Mc Cain.  Mc Cain classified anyone who differed in opinion on immigration issues with  the promoted order as a ":Crazie".

I personally know many who have called for an examination of the open border policy of the current administration and congress and they are as far from "crazie" as they come.   Mr. Mc Cain ought to be the one backing down that comment at this point and he ought to be the one who is calling for an examination of  the open border policy.

But Mr. Mc Cain has never been a particularly effective legislative leader or leader of anything for that matter.  But in that regard he is no different than other congresss members.  Few have distinguished themselves by virtue of their intellectual scope, fewer for their capacity for work and fewer yet for their vision.  Mc Cain is however given a pass because of his military service , as he should be, as he suffered greatly and we should be willing to give him some latitude.

The other day I was reading an article that said that we all had an obligation to keep our minds open to the possibility of another view , for seldom are things as they appear at first glance.  I think this is a valid approach.  We must consider more than initial appearance and when it comes to political matters we must consider much much more. Any candidate is deserving of more than a first glance and we certainly are more deserving of candidates who think they need only a once over.
Because nothing is as it seems to be, we must change our perspective to get the full flavor, and therein is where we find ourselves amused, amazed and thoroughly engaged.  Put aside the pundits, the media and decide for yourself.  The media, the campaigns, the party are all trying to influence you. Be your own judge.

Laugh at the ridiculous things that candidates say and do and what they promise in the attempt to fool you.  But do not be fooled, remember nothing is as it seems to be.

So, make up your mind to examine each issue from a differing perspective, for when so examined the object sometimes reveals a new side. From my perspective I can no longer bring myself to vote for a candidate who has done nothing but been a career politician.  I want to see some real experience.  Those are the reasons why Carson and Paul and yes even a Trump are deserving of more than one look.
