We are wrapping up the final details for EdcampNBCT which is sure to be a powerful day of professional growth. We wanted to take this time to discuss some of the logistics of the day so that you can get the most out of your day.
EdcampNBCT registration/check-in will be at 8:30 am. The Opening Session will begin promptly at 9:00 am.Edcamp is being held at Rock Quarry Middle School, 2100 Rock Quarry Drive, Tuscaloosa, AL 35406. Look for the EdcampNBCT signs and banners to direct your way.- Don't worry about needing to stop for breakfast on your way into
Edcamp . We will have Chick-fil-A breakfast and coffee waiting for you here. A delicious taco-nacho bar from Taco Mama will be our lunch followedwith Steel City Pops for dessert. - Please bring your devices. We will have internet access available for you to connect with other participants, both
onsite and virtually, through Twitter, Instagram, Google+, or Facebook. - When tweeting or posting on Instagram, please add the
hashtag #EdcampNBCT to share the amazing thoughts, ideas, and tools you learn during the day. Edcamp is participant driven day of learning. Bring all your great ideas to share with others, questions you'dliike answers to, and an open-mind for new thoughts.
In preparation for our great day of learning, we are hosting a Twitter chat on the topic of "ways we can grow professionally." We'll be using #EdcampNBCT. Whether you are a Twitter pro, novice, or observer, we invite you to join us July 6th at 7:00 pm Central.
We know many of you will be in town on July 9th. You are all invited to meet us at Five Restaurant (2324 6th Street, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35401) at 6:30 pm on Thurday evening for snacks, dinner and a chance to get to know one another.
