Greece, rocinante: STATE OUR showed his teeth. Rotten!

Greek state, honoring the worst traditions, wanted in the afternoon Monday to have another
dead. The criminal, murderous, unprovoked and premeditated attack on the block
Anarchosyndicalist Initiative Rosinante reminded days of 1980 and 1985 and achievement of
protesters alone, thanks to the calm, resolute and courageous stance prevented the worst
scenario. The same goes for night police presence in Exarchia Square, with its usual
practice of the occupation army, threatened residents and passersby, abused woman
journalist, hit colleague who complained (resulting to be transferred both to the
Annunciation) and broke up a booth.
From our side we were fortunate to see the intentions of the police very early. From the
outset of the march from the square Klathmonos our block was surrounded without any reason
whatsoever, by squads of riot police and various hangers that prevented them provocatively
and systematically work the guard who was strong and organized. At the intersection of
Vasilissis Sofias and since -as we were assured hearsay and eye-witnesses the commander of
platoon standing there, the notorious megalochrysafgitis Darius Lykiardopoulos briefed the
uniformed guild raid that '' turns the banner (sic) Rosinante, put masks and ready ', the
pressure on both sides of the block was suffocating.
Eventually, the riot police attacked us without provocation COMPLETELY blocks (as shown in
the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yAjzVrl1Tws ), at the height of the hospital
NIMITS with unimaginable fury, hitting blindly with their batons especially young and
girls, hurling stun grenades crowd and an innumerable amount of chemicals. Apparent
purpose of police assault was the dissolution of the block and panic challenge would
create escalation and would allow the police to invoke that barbarism had the objective '
'restore order' , as neither before nor after the attack was the slightest aggressive
movement of the block.
The miserable effort of ELAS failed miserably. The comrades and the comrades who made up
the block AP Rosinante regrouped in a climate of solidarity, mutual help and courage which
the hominids Robocop unleashed by the government in the way they had imagined to predict.
Since the onslaught of riot police however did several cases of injuries. Many comrades
block acquired injuries and several women, especially, experienced respiratory problems.
Exemplary and only mention the case 17 years student with asthma, in which a brave riot
police emptied a spray bottle, thereby transferred to the Annunciation wherein unconscious
and placed on oxygen.
The police kept the same challenging our encirclement of the block after the
reconstruction of, all the way from Alexandras Avenue to the office, which ruled for some
time blocking our entry to them. When I finally managed to get to our offices, unleashed
new completely unprovoked attack with chemicals and prevent the departure of the
demonstrators by closing all the surrounding streets.
It is not our job to verify or disprove the theory, according to which parts of the MAT
have become autonomous from their political leadership and attack without previous
commands. We know of course that the chrysafgitis-platoon Lykiardopoulos has entered into
a personal feud with the AP Rosinante for at least two years and we understand very well
the reasons . We also know that the Minister of Police Kikilias said that "ELAS did
appropriate", fully covering the atrocities of his subordinates. We saw also the strategy
of uncontrolled intensity be developed by the Government, the State and the police in
recent days outside the Law and the University, where students were beaten wildly in order
to prevent getting to their natural space.
We were advised that our heads are very dry to fear the sad their Matsoukas . The
uniformed thugs of the state and capital not halted the river of social vitality in the
period of the most ferocious repression (2008-2012) and will not do nor now that society
xanasikonei her head.
Suppression showed us her teeth, only proved rotten . We call on the workers and the
toiling, oppressed every part of society to continue with renewed vigor the fight against
poverty and repression in the spirit of November.
