Editorial: Heresy
After a long series of "last chance negotiations" with the holy troika (European
Commission, ECB, IMF), the Greek saga continues. Ten austerity plan, reductions in wages
and pensions, tax increases and taxes could not bring a lasting recession, thus increasing
the debt! Any good capitalist knows.
So why such a fury? The exasperation of the Greek people has reached such a degree that
the reformist left had his chance. Like any reformist party, Syriza thought he could
improve the actual situation of the exploited while maintaining the capitalist framework,
which must of course continue to pay down debt, stay in the euro zone and accept
constraints. Syriza simply do that by thinking also pay a little richer.
But what heresy! God 's wrath will fall on Greece. And trial by media sorcery already
unleashed against the people accused of all vices, and his ministers become dangerous
apostles of subversion. Unable to toe the line as easily, the Government of Tsipras
chooses the referendum.
Last Stand or real will to choose confrontation? What is certain is that the exploited in
Greece must choose the path of confrontation and it is our responsibility to support
continuing the struggle against the capitalist dogma and its high priests.
