Create its own educ pop structure, 400 Coups, many animators have dreamed. It is in this
adventure that our band has launched this year: kicked off this summer with a first colo!
---- The idea did not come out of nowhere; it's been years that we are working as sports
instructors, anims, managers or stakeholders and cultural interveners, and that some of us
met regularly to discuss the link between our business and our values (generally
libertarian, one not going to hide here). Some have managed to leave together and
experiment. It found that, since they had the desire and skills, we could create our body
and test our projects with a free hand. That's how the 400 Coups were born in January.
Accustomed to timeless cartoons pitfalls, we anticipated some of them. First, we would
like to stop exploiting the EEC [ 1 ]. There is no difference in treatment between the

Community life and logistical tasks (cooking, cleaning, assembly and disassembly...) are
true moments of learning. And "do nothing", that's fine. In the rental of campsites or
cabins, one favors the bivouac, or exchange service with friend-es that have land or
infrastructure. Politically, we also made some choices marked by our ideals.
It rejects the concept of "social mix" allowing "living together" between exploiters and
exploited future-es. We prefer to address gender issues, racism and economic inequality.
The mix will be done anyway because of "affluent" kids will come anyway and we will adapt
to not let the most troubled (poverty, disability, illness...) button. Solutions on a case
by case basis is sought and also working on collective solutions (linked support concerts

Finally, it was especially keen to develop autonomy and self-management. We are looking
forward to launching our super first children's councils to decide on house rules, daily
life activities. It was too colossal where children were at best consulted. We want truly
democratic general assemblies that combine each one equally in information, analysis and
deliberation. By developing as maximum autonomy and self-help, we hope to make at least
the time of a colo, critical individuals, autonomous and supportive. Les 400 Coups just
been born and we hope to successfully develop a viable alternative that will make you want
others to launch their structures.
