ALNBCT Network Board Open Position: Treasurer

The treasurer's position for the Alabama NBCT Network Board is now open. Our bylaws read, "The Treasurer shall (1) collect and keep an account of all money received and expended for the use of Alabama NBCT Network; (2) shall make reports of the finances to the Board; (3) shall in general perform all duties incident to the officer of treasurer as required by the Board." We are in search of someone that is highly organized, responsible, works well with others, and has a background in managing money.  He/she must also be dedicated to advocating for National Board Certification.

According to our bylaws, all officers must hold a current National Board certification. All board members need to commit to attending each of the board meetings. Typically, we have eight board meetings a year. These meetings usually occur on a Saturday morning in Birmingham and last for about an hour. Board members also need to commit to attending the annual conference and all other events, such as Alabama Hill Day and EdcampNBCT.
