Dear Luc,
Every week, I write and ask you to take action from wherever you are
to support equality. Sometimes we want to change a law or convince
a company to stand up against discrimination. But today, I need your
help to get the world’s attention in a different way.
In 76 countries, it’s a crime to be gay. It’s a powerful fact that you
probably know, but billions of people don’t.
Today, we’re going to change that. Our team has come together with
the groundbreaking cosmetics company Lush with the goal of reaching
10,000,000 people in just 10 days. Our message: we’re building a
global movement where #GayIsOK everywhere.
Will you help us change the conversation and build a global swell of
support and stories our friends and family can’t ignore?
Tell us who or what inspired you to join this movement for equality
and post it with your picture and the hashtag #GayIsOK on your
favorite social media platform. Our team will find the best stories
new Instagram! Our team is starting the conversation – will you  join us? We need thousands to come out and speak up for equality
 your phone,

This is Tile. They've led social media strategy for All Out since
our very first campaign. Based in New York City, Tile spends a
lot (too much? just enough?) time on the internet, with an eye
for LGBT health and history. Tile posted: “I‘m a part of the
movement because we’re always moving forward. No matter
how big the fight is, we’re willing to push for change further and
 faster, every time.” #GayIsOK

Meet Rose! She’s a campaign manager at All Out based in
London and has been with the team for 6 months. Rose posted:
"I love working for equality because I get to elevate stories of
love and bravery and link up fighters for equality across the
world!" #GayIsOK
Pablo's worked at All Out as a campaign manager for the past
two years. He's based in Buenos Aires, Argentina with his
dog Pocho. Pablo posted: "Me encanta ser parte de este
movimiento porque le da voz y poder a las personas que
luchan por el amor y la igualdad en todo el mundo." #GayIsOK
I'm Andre and I started the organization because I thought
there were a lot of people around the world who would be
willing to stand up for equality if they had an opportunity.
It turns out that there are millions! I'm so proud to be a part
of this community and it's a huge privilege to help inspiring
people come together in partnership with some of the
bravest  activists in the world. #GayIsOK
If you’re on your phone, join Andre and post your photo and
story on Instagram today.
Thanks for being a part of this global conversation by sharing why
you’re a part of the movement with the hashtag #GayIsOK today!
As always, thanks for going All Out with us,
Andre and the rest of the All Out team
P.S. All Out is not alone in this campaign: Lush, one of the world's
leading cosmetic companies, will be selling #GayIsOK soaps in more
than 800 of their shops around the globe. The goal is to raise
£250,000 for grassroots LGBT rights groups – groups that risk their
safety to fight for love. Wanna have your own #GayIsOK soap?
