crisis: the unemployed and basic income by Nesplara (ca, it) [machine

Brief remarks on the need to integrate the unemployed in the labor movement and the
organization of a mass movement for the minimum wage / income of citizenship ---- Italy
2015: in an economic crisis that you do not see the end, but only the conditions of a
worsening ... the absolute absence of social conflict. ---- With a youth unemployment
stands at around 43% (ISTAT in March 2015), the only social movements of note are limited
to no Expo, to schools and to the committees for defense of the territory: the fact that
every second young not literally have to live that, without taking into account another
worrying fact announced today by ISTAT (more than one million parents out of work), it
does not seem to be a problem. It being understood that the figure above may be distorted,
but not too much, work in black, the absence of social movements against unemployment I
can depend on two elements.
The first is, in my view, an element as it were material, consisting of financial support
that many young people receive from families, ie the generation that could enjoy all the
gains achieved by the labor movement over the past years.
The second element, purely political, is identified in the fact that unemployment is seen
as a personal condition, and not perceived for what it is, that is an important element in
the system of capitalist exploitation. The absence of what, ultimately, is the awareness
on the part of the unemployed, leading to the absence of the recognition of an identity of
interests and, simultaneously, to the absence of a mass organization of these
subjectivities highly individualized.
Activate and stimulate awareness of the unemployed, of which the emergence of a mass
organization is the logical consequence, I think it is important to identify a political
entity truly capable of feeding the conflict at this stage of the economy capitalist. As
part of this process the so-called citizen's income, of which today fill their mouths a
little all, can play a very important element in order to identify a target
praticabilissimo and able to ensure a large level of participation.
At the same time, which is not absolutely negligible from an anarchist perspective, if
that objective was achieved by a self-organized mass movement rather than by means of some
political party, this would demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the
libertarian praxis, also giving so many young people that needed hope to change things, to
be able to take charge of their own destiny.
With the conquest of the right to a minimum wage or income of citizenship Furthermore, the
labor movement could deal a serious blow to the capital, making it impossible to deploy
that industrial reserve army, so numerous in times of crisis like the one we are
experiencing; in turn, this might (the conditional is always a must!) invigorate the
struggles of the working population, especially precarious and poorly paid, not having to
fear the specter of poverty, could begin to organize in the workplace, svecchiando finally
union now made only by pensioners, guaranteed and public workers, and from which the most
sincerely that you can expect is some advice for 730 or a little trip to Rome.
