On changes in Africa as a whole, especially in Nigeria:
"So right now Senegal is not a Francophone country, it is a Wolof country. This has been going on for a 100 years but it’s now real. It’s got its own politics. It’s got its own Zumas.
You go to Nigeria now: The way I see it, the Yorubas have decided to break away. Lagos has been gentrifying and getting a sense of political and economic order. There was one ATM in Lagos when I first went there 10 years ago. Soon you’re going to get Nigerian passport but the Lagos state with have a separate page so that they apply for their Visas separately because the economy of Lagos state is not the economy of Nigeria currently.
It will not look like how Nigeria looks like itself. It will look like how Singapore looks to China and Malaysia. That vehicle has left the boat."
