Sometimes we feel empty
We search deep down for the purpose of living
We search for the sane to fill our entity
Waiting for the burning in our hearts
To light the candle flames in our minds
Deeper we search
Searching for our moment of happiness
When the lines of our lips will turn to a curve
And the sparkle in our eyes will be at it's peak
When night fall will seem like the beginning of dawn
And the coming of tomorrow will be a joy
We are like those unopened letters never read
Contents never known and wondering what it carries
Sometimes, we find it
Yet, we never pursue it
For fear of what their ears will "say"
For fear their eyes will rip our souls
For fear their tongues will scar our dreams
Not knowing we scar our dreams by believing in their tongues
We live their lives by believing their eyes
We ache to fill the hole to make us whole
But hide in darkness
Come out from that corner!
Peep through the holes and see the light!
There is light in you
Become that candle in awe of its flame
That burns and burns
Till it Passes the light to another
Then your flame will never go dim
Only then will you find purpose
You can either choose to be the dreamer who never takes a step or
The dreamer who takes a step and falls or
The dreamer who takes a step and falls but picks himself up
