For several years, A. Koltchenko is known for his anti-fascist commitments Crimea, union,
anarchists, environmentalists. Having released a film about the murder of independent
journalist Anastasia Baburova Crimean, in Moscow in 2009, he had been attacked with a
knife by a fascist band. He continued his activism in favor of human rights and has
participated in the clearly anti-fascist camp in the Maidan Square protests that resulted

When the Russian military intervention in Crimea Alexandr Koltchenko organized peaceful
demonstrations to protest against the military occupation, which affected the referendum,
