A few weeks ago, five women in China were thrown in prison just for standing up for equality. But thanks to help from All Out members around the world, they were released.
Tingting Wei was one of the five women put in jail. She just posted this message, for all of us,

Tingting and her four friends were put in jail in China back in March, just for organizing a peaceful protest to denounce harassment at work. They were making pro-equality stickers and planning to hand them out. And for that, Chinese authorities arrested them.
That's when All Out members stepped in. Over 100,000 of us took a stand in just a few days, demanding their release. We joined a global outcry of journalists and world leaders – and our voices were heard! Last month, all five women were released.
This is the power of All Out: when thousands of us take action, we become impossible to ignore. We’re showing people in power that there’s a whole movement ready to stand up at a moment’s notice and fight for equality.
But the danger isn't over. Chinese authorities could charge them or even arrest them again at any moment. That won't stop Tingting and her friends from fighting for equality – but together,we can show these women that their brave work is supported by people all over the world. And that, no matter what, we have their back.
