Editorial: Who are the criminals?
For years, the death toll is usual in the media: more than 450 deaths in the Mediterranean
in the only week of April 6, as much as in the first three months of the year! And now
more than 700 victims in the single day of 19 April. It's been in four months, half the
2014 record (3419 deaths).
Behind these figures, however, are people. How can we tolerate that quietly? How can the
rulers remain passive as they mechanically repeat of "never again" to each commemorative
mass crimes? Just because they are far from inactive. They are even particularly zealous
when it comes to establishing the criminal system which is responsible for these murders!
It is the systematic looting of resources (including the famous "human resources") in
Africa that holds in misery for hundreds of millions of people.
It is still their anti-immigration policy that forces these people to risk their lives on
the roads and seas, allowing overexploitation of survivors and that goes to criminalize
support to migrants while enriching mafias living the border crossing. Their demagogic
speeches reinforce these racist policies and division between proletarians. The name is
known criminals. It is time they assume their crimes!
The only way to stop this disaster is freedom of movement .
