At its last congress, the Federazione dei Comunisti Anarchisti (FdCA), sister organization
of Alternative libertarian Italy, has redefined its orientation and an intervention
program against capitalism. ---- On 1 and 2 November 2014, the FdCA held its ninth
congress in Cingia de 'Botti in the province of Cremona in Lombardy. It gave rise to many
debates: the world of work, the economy, public health, agriculture, the relationship

redefine its political orientation and change its name, adopted at its second congress
there 28 years. The delegates decided that it will now be called Alternativa Libertaria /
FdCA.
The outline of the new momentum developed in the "Building Libertarian Alternative"
motion[1]. Capitalist restructuring has undermined two fundamental factors of the
proletariat fighting capacity: unity and solidarity.
Broad and diverse network of self-management
The priority task of the period is to defend and build against powers. The resistance to
the offensive of capital through the defense of the social wage as the right to public
education and universal access to health care, as well as the fight against labor reforms
and pensions. In parallel, it is necessary to build a large and diverse network of
self-management, to experiment with forms of socialization and workers' control over
public services.
The left we want
It is actively participating in the revolutionary left and class that is expressed in the

based on a libertarian communist and anti-capitalist program. The future of the FdCA is to
change the perception of anarchism and libertarian communism, to move from one identity
movement to a concrete work plan: it is the libertarian alternative.
The final document "For the libertarian alternative" gives more details, it is not
possible to present all here. Among the short-term tasks, the organization wants to
contribute to the development of a libertarian front to spread the anarchist social
project and the construction of a social front of immediate demands and opposition forces.
Internationally it intends to continue its support to Anarkismo network and strengthen the
relationship between sister organizations.
