Hello mates. ---- We are happy to invite individuals and groups anarchists to the General
Anarchist Forum in Brazil to take place in the city of Rio de Janeiro between days 04 e
June 7, 2015. ---- The initiative was presented by the Anarchist League in Rio de Janeiro
in the previous event and had the support of the Institute of Libertarian Studies (group
dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of anarchism in its various chains) and Core
Pro-Federation of Libertarian Education (libertárixs organization focused in educational
experiences and social practices) operating in Rio de Janeiro too, and was adopted by
consensus among the groups present, and supported by the International Anarchist
Federations - IFA Federation Libertarian Argentina -FLA, Francophone Anarchist Federation
- FA, Anarchist Federation Ger- FdA, Mexico Anarchist Federation, Anarchist Federation
Place of Valdivia (Chile) - FALV, Study Group Gomes Rojas (Chile) and all persons present
on the wheel.
We hear a lot about the anarchist federalist organization of federations and groups
mentioned above, which motivated us to start talks toward the recognition of the anarchist
movement in the country and to study possibilities for its construction.
Faced with the situation between 2013 and 2015, we highlight the following points: the
popular uprisings, occupations, strikes, horizontal popular assemblies, anticopa,
demonstrations by the free pass and zero tariffs in considerable part of Brazil, in 2014
general elections, inflation growth, reduction workers' rights, job cuts in industries and
services (directly attacking the contractors that are the most precarious part of workers)
increased energy rates and water, increase in bus fares, right and left expressions,
movements, projects and fascist speeches in streets, in the chambers, national congress,
fascist practices by the judiciary and executive, visualization of religious paramilitary
groups as Pentecostal churches, official military operations in massacres in the suburbs
and slums into the country. THE LEAGUE invitess Companions @ s to expose their analysis,
reflect on this situation, talk about purposeful outputs for workers / employees and
precarious / precarious.
This Forum aims to promote and restart talks on Federalism Anarchist in Brazil. Therefore,
the participation and presentation of anarchism in the five regions of the country will
give a more diversified and less inaccurate picture of how anarchism stands today, how we
can walk to act promptly and collectively.
We believe that the anarchist federalist organization can contribute enhancing the work of
all collectives and individuals are in the direction of any shares: Horizontal popular
assemblies, popular movements, social movements, trade union movements, dissemination and
propaganda of anarchist ideas and practices, worker-owned cooperatives and services or
products, performing arts, etc.
Consider other forms of anarchist organizations and their performances, we respect their
paths and follow in building our way of seeing and living the world anarchically,
establishing dialogue when desirable, possible and necessary. All forms of anarchist
organization are welcome to General Forum Anarchist.
All those and those that are in line with these proposals, feelings and goals are Invited
@ s. Each individual and collective will come on their own and we will offer only
accommodation for those who really need it, offer a list of places to feed ourselves as
cheaply as possible and with a satisfactory quality. Soon, we will disclose more details
on methodology, structure and activities of the General Anarchist Forum.
