World News Update Israel Immigration authorities plan to forcibly deport asylum seekers‏

I know.

Uganda denies for almost 2 years.
But its a lie.
We know many deportees whom received in Israel a sum of 3500$ from israeli govenrment and that money was confiscated by Ugandan representative upon their landing in Uganda.

Hi
in the past few days we contact meron estafanos in stockholm and some activists in Berlin
There will be solidarity demonstrations on Apr. 13th
If you are willing to arrange solidarity demo on the same day in more places please contact me
Apr 13th is also elections day in Sudan (sadly Bashir will win since there are no real elections)
Rwanda confirmed the deal with Israel and Uganda still denies it.
On a personal note - we (refugees and israeli activists and human rights NGO) have testimonies
on deportees who were imprisoned and murdered upon their arrival to Uganda and Rwanda.
Most of them tried to get to south sudan or were deported to Eritrea and Sudan and found their death in tortures.
I am sure you have similar stories of refugees who where deported back.
If anyone want to make an international campaign or build website with all the testimonies please contact me as well.
I feel we need to shake the world with these horrible stories.
Solidarity and many thanks
Yael

Hi all
In the past 2 years Israel led a "voluntary deportation" policy
where Sudanese and Eritrean asylum seekers where pressured to sign
forms that they are willingly returning to Uganda on Rwanda.
Once signing these forms a fake passport and fake travel document is issued for them. they are given a 3500$ grant for leaving israel.
Once landing in Rwanda or Uganda the money and documents are taken from them. they are being sent to 2 days in a hotel and left to their unknown and dangerous fate.
We have many testimonies on returnees who were deported to eritea or sudan and were imprisoned and tortured for being in israel.
some try to go to south sudan and from there to libiya and europe
Holot detention center who opened 1.5 years ago has 1900 asylum seekers who are not allowed to work and suffer from bad conditions.
Israel immigration authorities published a press statement that now a force deportation will start first with Holot detainees.
Who ever refuses to go back will be sent to indefinite period of time to Saharonim closed prison.
here is a short article about it
