Tunisia Tunis "Push back Frontex!" workshop on the WSF / FSM

There was a workshop about the campaign “Push back Frontex!” presented by AEI and people of the alarmphone on the WSF in Tunis – maybe it is also interesting for other people.

In Tunis we discussed about the campaign only in a small group before the workshop that:
- the action proposed for Strasbourg cannot yet take place in April, but will be prepared for a day between the 9th and 11th of June (session of the EU Parliament, which was also chosen by an assembly on the WSF as a week of action for freedom of movement)
- for the actions proposed in May, it is not yet sure what the CISPM (Coalition of Sans Papiers and Migrants) will prepare except some actions in front of Camerounian and maybe other African Embassies against their collaboration with the EU deportation policy - this could be also used to bring in the topic of Frontex and the new/old proposal of camps in Africa and externalisation of border controls, e.g. that Tunisia and Egypt should be resonsible for rescue operations (and deportations) along the North African coast.
We had no time to discuss in a bigger group about the proposal to do an action in Warsawa at the European Border Guards Day on the 21st of May, and I am not sure if it will take place.

If you have other ideas, please share them!
