Last week, there appeared a new number from outside the Order. This anarchist quarterly
magazine is published by the Free Association, and is filled with action reports from
inside and outside, columns, comics, interviews, book reports, practical and theoretical
papers on a variety of topics: anarchism, self-management, workers' struggles, human
rights, anti-fascism, anti-militarism , environmental actions, opposition and independent
culture, etc. ---- The theme of the Outer Order is the time Rojava and developments there.
In that area in the north of Syria raging battle between Kurdish resistance fighters and
Islamic State. Also, and linked to this resistance struggle trying to shape people in
these areas to a life of freedom and solidarity, something that comes very close to
anarchist ideals and therefore meet a wide response from anti-authoritarian circles.
At the same time there are obstacles and dilemmas; the role of the West, the authoritarian
legacy of forces within the opposition. On experiences and trends, dilemmas and problems
of what is called the Rojava Revolution, the editors have assembled a number of articles
with divergent views, partially translated for the magazine partly written specially. We
think and hope thereby a contributing factor to an important discussion.
Furthermore, there are other current events and their backgrounds who pass by. Evidence
about the impending new FTA TIPP, about Blockupy - still in the offing when we worked on
the magazine, now behind us -, nuclear energy and why it did not make economic solution is
that its proponents. About Greece you read a lot, not about SYRIZA and the new government
but just about all basic initiatives that people from the grip of state capital and
attempt to escape.
Johny Lenaerts wrote a piece about radical environmentalists fight against a high-speed
line in Italy, against a dam and an airport in France. Thom Holterman fills that well with
a piece of deadly repression by the French state. Peter Storm wrote a piece about the
various forms of anti-racist struggle in recent years has emerged. Jan Bervoets shines a
light on innovations within the International Anarchist Federation. We have a report from
the 2Dh5 festival, an interview on the Hague peace platform, an interview with Crimethinc.
And more. Permanent sections - international riots, anti-fascism - and subjects -
migration struggle, which we have included an article by Joke Caviar - not missing.
Outside the Order is made by members of the Free Association, but wants to be a leaf of
the whole anarchist movement. Do you want to contribute to the realization of the Outer
Order? Write an article, an action report, a column or a cartoon. Or come strengthen the
