Libraries, Family Reading Partnership Launch Baby’s First Library Card Program

Tompkins County
Public Library, in collaboration with the Family Reading Partnership, has
announced “Babies Belong at the Library,” a county-wide initiative to encourage
an early love of reading and libraries by providing every baby born in Tompkins
County with a free library card.



The program, which
launches April 12, was developed by the Family Reading Partnership, TCPL, and
librarians from
