The situation in Southern Europe is becoming increasingly stifling. Everywhere austerity,
wage cuts, dismantling labor relations, unemployment, dramatic reduction of social
benefits that increase the cost of survival of the popular masses and the middle class,
wild direct and indirect taxation. It is obvious that capital, as usual, trying to pass on
the cost of the crisis on underneath. Therefore, the famous European integration through
economic and social convergence has gone walk. Conversely, a twofold division permeates
throughout Europe. Within the countries, old and new oligarchies of wealth and power
together with all sorts of hangers them ask their people more and more sacrifices to
"overcome the crisis", while those continuing to accumulate profits and power. At
transnational level, Europe has now turned into an indirect empire with a strong financial
center (north) and a region of the south absolutely dependent and weak self-financing,
have to give up all their "competitive" advantage (banking sector in Cyprus) or to abandon
its own consumption model (Greece) and to comply with the austerity. Moreover, the
emergence of new giant markets in the East (China, India) makes less and less useful to
the globalized capital, the purchasing power of the peoples of southern Europe, which of
course far funded markets of the north.

people around something meaningful, unable to balancing work and ensure the well-being of

southern Europe decides to resist the capitalist steamroller. Bridges will join this world
