Colombia is the second-most populated country in South America, and thanks to a new government initiative, hundreds of thousands of its children could soon find themselves exposed to self-organised learning environments (SOLEs). Last year, Colombia began a pilot program in 10 libraries and 10 kiosks around the country with help from the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications. The program, called SOLE Colombia, is a SOLE Central research partner which gave children and adults the opportunity to participate in SOLEs and learn how to answer Big Questions.
