So sorry fur posting late this week, only the P.A. - let me add the furry selfish P.A. - decided to take a vacation. Now while we're all fur rest, relaxation and spending good quality time and lots of it in the chill zone, we don't appreciate our staff doing the same! MOL
Howeffur, she said, "Basil, I've not had a break since 2011 and I haven't had a beach vacation since 2010, so you my little furry friend are just going to have to cope with it!"
I was astounded, dumbfounded and completely lost fur words, the utter selfishness of it nearly blew my fur off, as mew can well imagine.
Anyhoo, she added, "Don't worry, all your needs will be catered for as my cousin will move in and stay while with you all I'm away."
Well mew could have knocked me out with a feather, new staff to train and only a couple of weeks to do so, I sucked in a long deep breathe as I calculated the possibilities of efficient training in such a short space of time, as it's not just me that lives here, there's a whole feline hoard that each has diffurent needs and requirements.
"This is going to be tough," I answered after a few moments.
"Well I'm sure you'll be absolutely fine, I've left precise instructions for everyone's individual needs and how each of you likes things, so there'll be no service interruptions whatsoever," she added.
I pondered this too fur a moment. and finally conceded, adding "Where can we reach mew if things aren't going to plan?"
She smirked and said, "I'll be in South Africa, floating around the swimming pool on my li-lo with a brightly coloured alcoholic cocktail with a little umbrella in it in my hand, or at the gym!"
I shan't repeat what I said next as mew can imagine, anyhoo all turned out well, as mew can see from our collage today, the Cousin was a great and highly valuable asset - we had endless nights of pure psychedelia due to the constant flow of catnip, niptinis, hubbly bubbly nip, nip nibbles, and nip canapes... it was totally pawesome - the pawty that neffur ended - well it did yesterday when the P.A. returned!
We are hoping she's booking another trip in the furry near future!!!! MOL MOL MOL
