In the fundraising campaign to which the FAU have called in early January came 616,15 EUR
total EUR together - Thank you to all donors * inside! This is the FAU but too little,
accordingly, we pack again EUR 1,000 on it, so that we can support the struggle of CSAAWU
with a total of EUR 1,616.15 (~ 21,000 Rand). Although the CSAAWU has reached its first
fundraising goal of $ 10,000, this is by far not enough to cover them aufgebrummten costs.

We support your struggle and your fight for a strong union of farmworkers in South Africa
and send you our best wishes and solidarity! We condemn the repression by the South
African Labour Court against CSAAWU. We recognize that the work CSAAWU does is extremely
important for workers, and we hope you make great strides in the unionization of rural
workers. It is amazing to see that there is a union like you - with clear principles that
is taking up the fight against the exploitation in South Africa.
We, the Free Workers Union (FAU), are a self-organized federation of local unions in
Germany. We know all about the repression of democratic, worker-based and fighting unions
- by bosses, the state and the big unions that have no interest in advancing the workers'
struggle. We have dealt with it in the past, and we deal with it in the present.
We stand in the tradition of syndicalism: a strong part of this tradition is international
solidarity between workers in different countries! Since we heard from the Zabalaza
Anarchist Communist Front about your case, we started an internal and open call for
donations within our networks. We have to defend unions that are based on the workers and
not directed by elites. Although FAU is a small federation, we are glad that we could send
you more than 1600 Euro (around R21000) to assist you in your fight against repression. We
hope that CSAAWU will get through all of this so that in 2016 we can send you greetings
