In the last days of January 2015, students from the Education, National, Free and Central
Universities, all members of Student Libertarian Action (ALE), met for three days in the
cold lands of the hills of Bogota, to develop our first general assembly of assessment and
semi projection. In this space of integration, learning and political deliberation,

Our prospects
Faced with the current situation of Colombian education, we reaffirm our rejection of the
Public Higher Education Policy 2014-2034 All for Superior CESU and the national
government, which deepens the neoliberal model in education, and promote the debate on the
same in all our areas of influence, participating as a libertarian in the construction of
popular education projects to think long term educational alternatives. We also believe
that the new law 1740, 2014 inspection and supervision of higher education proposed by the
Ministry of National Education (MEN) and summarily passed in Congress, seeks to reaffirm
the bureaucratic state control over universities, attacking the autonomy of teachers,
students and workers. Just for the University Foundation San Martin, used to justify this
project is but one of the best examples of the consequences of 20 years of application of
the neoliberal model and hierarchical commodified education based on ability to pay the
students. Moreover, we understand the plan called pilo be paid with 10,000 scholarship
loan-MEN, like a banking service that violates social, enriches private institutions amid
budget choking of public institutions and reinforces the exclusive character of university
education in the country. In this regard, we reaffirm the historical flag of college
students who enacts the workers and popular sectors, and demand for free public education,
and excellence with free and universal income.
Our betting
We reaffirm one of the main axes of our policy Organizational Work Base we conceive as a
strategic axis, which guides our medium-term projections and our concrete activities in
the daily strategy. Criticizing the rhetorical nature mainly appeal to this activity has
among many student organizations, usually stuck in bureaucratic and vertical strategies
focused on institutional action of student performances or the spectacular action of the
apparatus of political organizations, we recognize in a bid whose priority is the
generation of union processes based on all local spaces of us involved, which implies
ownership and the ongoing activity of the bases, from autonomy, asamblearismo, direct
democracy and development a permanent dynamic training, organization and struggle. So,

constitution of unions, unitary, democratic and militant student federations.
Our activities
During the semester we will develop some spaces of semi-permanent external training,
expressed Libertarian Student Seminars in places where there is greater logistical
strength, and intermittent talks where lower. The topics that will be addressed will have
different objectives as continuing education on various topics of interest and relevant to
the current time, and the opening of non-institutional settings, seeking to build the
political-pedagogical proposal of libertarian education and popular education within the
Educational Institutions.

communication project, spreading the university situation, the struggles of the student

tools. In parallel, we will strengthen our daily work and direct communication and
organization among our fellow students.
Finally, we will continue our commitment materializing organizational groundwork through
participation and creation of spaces for deliberation and local building, which exist at
the time the proposal of Student Councils in public universities and private ones, but
also in large guilds spaces for college as in private institutions in which we work.
