"We are here for humanity" - Commune of Paris, 1871 ---- Comrades! ---- On the occasion of
144 years of the Paris Commune (18 March 1871), one of the most important events in the
history of the working class, the COMPA invites any and all to the activity that will be
held next Wednesday, 25th March, at 19: 30h at the Cultural Space Breath (R. da Bahia,
1176, Center): ---- Camera & Debate: The Paris Commune in anarchist perspective ---- In
this activity we'll show the film "La Commune (Paris, 1871)," a drama directed by Peter
Watkins tells the story of one who was not the greatest, one of the biggest events
perpetrated by the working class in the world, when the workers took them the direction of
the economy, politics, putting self-management in all social spheres.
After the movie, we will have a debate with fellow Carlos Frankiw, anarchist and historian
who will talk with us a little about what was the Commune and its relationship with the
anarchist ideology. The film will begin at 20h at most, not to extrapolate the timeout
activity.
Anarchist books and vegan food will be on sale!
We dedicate this public activity to the great anarchist Louise Michel, a militant who had
remarkable participation in the process of the Paris Commune.
Admission is free. Come todxs!
