Dear Music Lover, dear Jazz Fan,  THANKS for your support to your Club and to JAZZ music : your vote has been usefull, the Music Village is "nominee" in his category EVENING EXPERIENCE 2014 VISITBRUSSELS AWARDS for the contribution to the international reputation of Brussels. This has been one of our aims from the very begining of the Club in 2000 : being friendly, international and open to everyone. Final results : March 26th..Suspense. WEDNESDAY 4 FOCUS FUNK JAZZ La Grooverie Quartet  Ignazio DiSalvo (guitars), Alexis Ceccaldi (piano and keyboards), Colin Deloye (bass), Lucas Vanderputten (drums) A funk jazz quartet in which the groove and the funk rhythm is the quintessence of the project. A powerful mixture in which the classic jazz lives with a modern Rock sound. Influences: Chris Potter underground, Dave Weckl band, Tribal Tech, Chick Corea Electric Band… TICKET : 7.50€ THURSDAY 5 HOT BURNING GYPSY THURSDAY Gypsy Flames   Once a month, we celebrate a “mid-week” moment of music flames and burning “thé slave”…in the company of some of our best gypsy specialist perfomers… (Alexandre Cavaliere - violin, Mario Cavaliere - guitar, René De Smaele - trumpet,…) From 8.30 to 10.30, two sets of qualitative, crafted and positive swing gypsy jazz, made famous in the 30ies by Django Reinhardt…Music to live, to dance, to enjoy. TICKET : 12-14€ FRIDAY 6 & SATURDAY 7 FRENCH HARMONICA JAZZ STAR Olivier Ker Ourio _167250.jpg) Olivier Ker Ourio (harmonica), Ivan Paduart (piano), Philippe Aerts (bass), Hans Van Ooosterhout (drums) Olivier KER OURIO is a brilliant chromatic harmonicist often describedas “the only true successor to Toots Thielemans” (has performed throughout Europe and the United States with the likes of Franck Amsallam, Bruce Arnold, Michel Petrucciani,Dee Dee Bridgewater, …).These evenings will be dedicated to his own unique interpretation of the Jazz and Blues standards in the company of a top Belgian trio.
