Scopus, new theory of multi-functional role of aquatic biota in improving water quality.
Publications. Environmental science, ecology, aquatic, water quality, water self-purification, toxic effects, surfactants, eutrophication,
The results and conclusions of these papers - published in 2001 - 2004 - were confirmed and supported in more recent publications. These 7 papers led to creation of a new theory of multi-functional role of aquatic organisms in improving water quality, in other words, in water self-purification. This theory was originated by Dr Sergei A. Ostroumov, M.V.Lomonosov Moscow University, in these 7 papers.
