To what I learned between 600 and 1000 migrants were deported from Gourougou yesterday morning (after a succesful attack of some who made it into Melilla). Most of them were brought to a center close to Nador, Kariat Arekmane. This is surrounded by police forces and there are many people severly wounded and in very bad conditions.
Others are brought to Meknes were also finger-prints were taken but people were released into the streets afterwards.

Police is going to take their fingerprints and fotos and then Morocco will ask "laisse-passes" from their embassies to deport them to their home countries.

If i understood it right, one moroccan minister already ordered the diplomats from the embassies from some subsaharien countries to a meeting to tell them that they should take the people back.

This is the consequence of the new partnership agreement of Morocco with the European Union.

I got a lot of informations this evening from diffrent people, all very disturbing. Apparently a lot of people left Nador and Tanger for fear and the people in Rabat do not know, where all the new arrivers should stay.

Fonds for the wounded are urgently needed and initiatives in Rabat ask for money too to give housing to the most vulnerable and to organize a delegation to Nador.

See call of noborder Morocco.

This is a new escalation of the situation and different from previous evictions of Gourougou where migrants used to come back after some days could be a severe change. Migrants in Tanger fear, that after police attacked the people in the forests, they will start to find every migrant in Boukalef, going door by door and deport them too.

From Rabat there is also the news that even people with the regularisation papers were arrested.
