VOVA is an international non-profit organization founded by scholars, educators, and collectors of oral tradition. Our immediate goal is to build a state-of-the-art exchange platform with digital editorial tools and databases for better documenting, preserving, and valorizing vocal and verbal arts. An Advisory Board has been created for designing the nomenclature, the editing tools, and the database tables. We aim to allow for a maximum number of methodologies and approaches for a comprehensive comparative study of the linguistic, anthropological, musical, and literary features of vocal and verbal performances. - website
