Urgent, Important , Afghan govt. says it will no longer accept deportees‏

Update/clarification on the Afghan situation:

The Minister of Refugees and Reintegration has said that current
deportations to the country fall outside the scope of the Memoranda of
Understanding, and that they will not accept anyone deported and will
send them back.

It remains to be seen whether they actually do this in practice but the
minister says he has sent letters to embassies telling states not to
deport people because they would no longer be accepted. At the very
least this could be used in asylum cases and campaigners in Afghanistan
are trying to get the word out to solicitors and media here - so if
people can help with that in whatever way that would be great.

Cautiously optimistic :)
