AMS is happy to be working once again with
Combat Wounded Veteran Challenge based in Tarpon Springs, FL.
AMS Guides Colby Coombs, Joey McBrayer, Karina Amortegui and Bace Poplowski will be working with this team during this expedtion. We are thrilled to be here and helping to achieve the goals of this climb.
We have begun our Aconcagua Expedtion having paid for and received our permits today. We will enjoy a dinner out tonight after finalizing our lunch packing and gear packing this afternoon.
All systems go here in Mendoza and everyone is ready for the next stage: Tomorrow the team will travel to Penetientes, at 8,465' above sea level. This is an important acclimatization day and night, and they will all be feeling the altidue upon arrival. On the 7th., the team will start the approach hike. Lucky them!
