As we're suffering from a bit of rather chilly weather this week, we thought we'd share a bit of a winter wunderland scene with mew.
These pics were taken when we had a mega cold winter in 2010, the tempurratures dropped to -15 and we had some really big snow, the PA. said that she hadn't seen snow like it since she was a child, but let me tell mew it was mightily Baltic, enough to freeze your fur off!
Luckily it's not that bad right now, but I have been watching the snow flurries come and go the last 24 hours, but we're ok as the fire is roaring and we're all toasty inside.
And the P.A. did buy an emergency vehicle last year as after 2 weeks of being snowed in during a previous winter, she said, most vehemently I might add, "I'm not having that again!" She calls it The Tank - although it's actually a Land Rover 90 Pick-Up, so if we do get big snow again, we're ok as mew can see below. She says she still has some modifications to make, but it'll get us through most adverse weather conditions. Plus we can help others too if necessary with the winch - just pawesome.
In other mews, we watched a TV show the other night of the worlds bestest, funniest cat videos. Smoochie got up real close and purrsonal throughout the show, but when the piano playing kitty came on screen, Smoochie was smitten!
Well that's it fur this week, we do hope mew've all had a great one. And if mew're residing in the colder climes take care, be safe and look after the hooman staff.
