The skirt on a Douglas Fir Tree. This is where I find Mourning Doves basking in the sunshine.I'm heading into the kitchen right now to make some muffins. Grandittles, Riley and Bradley, walked in here Sunday morning and after the usual, "Hi's and "How ya doin's" they both looked up and asked, "Do you have any muffins, Nana?" *grin*
I didn't, but had home-made chocolate chip cookies that seemed to satisfy them just fine.
Now I need to make their favorite pumpkin muffins and have them ready for next time they drop by.
Pumpkin Muffins
You need:
1 cup of butter
2 1/2 cups of white sugar
3 large brown eggs
mix this together
in a separate bowl....
3 cups of flour
1 tsp. each of the following...
baking powder
baking soda
salt
cinnamon
cloves
1/2 tsp of nutmeg
add to butter mixture
add 2 cups of pure pumpkin
add 1 tsp of vanilla
add raisons or nuts if you like
This will make 2 loaves or 32 muffins
bake at 350 for 1 hour or for muffins 25 minutes
