alternative (fr, it, pt) [machine translation]
Dismissal for a es, job blackmail and pay cuts for others, stigma chomeur-se-s, hunting
immigrated es ... the arrival of the ruling Socialist Party in 2012 has made the final
that intensify attacks against the popular classes. Employers feels grow wings and demand
more and more. The National Front and reactionary 'of all stripes are lurking and are
rooted in the political landscape, drawing ever more right UMP and PS ... It is urgent to
build an alternative to this system of breath. ---- The Left Front is trying to draw a
semblance of alternative and seeks to forge alliances with the left of the PS
(Europe-ecology, New Deal, the "rebellious" PS), with a perspective view of the elections
in 2017. But proposals of this current (a 6th Republic, a tax reform magnitude) are not up
to the challenges: firstly, they are as institutional solutions, reducing social struggles
to simple levers view elections; secondly, they are limited to adjustments of the system
which are missing the problem.
Now, we have in front of us a capitalist system at bay, that needs to survive, to trim
wages and do away with social achievements. If we want to fight this war machine, we can
not be content with tepid proposals that do not fundamentally challenge capitalism.
Overcome divisions
We affirm the contrary that capitalism can not be reformed and that no lasting improvement
of the lot of workers-its can not be obtained as endure this deadly system.
Anti-capitalists do not be ashamed of wanting to break with this system not to disarm or
tame. The only way to combat it is to snatch the power under the ownership of the means of
production and to get rid of the state which is in service.
However, we do the finding that the division between anti-capitalist organizations
considerably weakens their audience among the exploited-es and their weight in the
struggles. The example of Greece, which has many revolutionary activists, shows that the
worsening of the crisis does not automatically led to a strengthening of the opposition to
capitalism. Similarly, in France, this fragmentation and weakness resulting discourage
many-to-s activists, tired of bigotry each chapel, to organize politically.
Unity in diversity ... and in the street!
However, it would be premature to expect to bring all anti-capitalists in the same
organization: we do not draw a line on the differences of culture, history, ideological
chapels overnight. Therefore from what brings us together to build unity anticapitalist:
our opposition to capitalism and all oppression, our involvement in the struggles and
self-organization practices.
We also believe that these fronts must be built outside election logic, because we are
convinced that the anti-capitalist struggle is waged largely outside the institution and
that elections divide more than they gather. It is on these bases that Alternative
libertarian calls for the establishment of anti-capitalist fronts. Such a unit will allow
the anti-capitalist movement to gain visibility and credibility that none of the existing
organizations can claim to achieve alone.
Since 2012, with the arrival of Holland in power, the rise of the Left Front and the
crisis of the NPA, this proposal is a new chord with anti-capitalist. Thus, several local
fronts have been formed in Agen, Toulouse, Nantes, Angers, Albi and raw exchange meetings
were held in this direction in Nimes, Bobigny, Orleans, Montreuil, Rennes. In these cities
the proposal was generally well received by the NPA, of diminishing, the OCML-VP or even
Alternative or AF.
Where the approach is the most complete, anticapitalist fronts were initiated rallies,
concerts, support the struggles, common tracts, and activists are politically
unorganized-invest.

AL in the anti-capitalist pole of the demonstration on April 12, 2014 in Paris.
This joint work habit has also helped to coordinate better in the struggles and in the
unitary group, for example at the time of preparation of the national demonstration
against austerity in Paris on 12 April 2014. In fact, it s' is no substitute for social
movements (unions, associations fighting ...) or to build a political camp which is
isolated from the rest of the organizations opposing the government and employers.
Move up a gear
The question now arises a national meeting and a call of several organizations in the
creation of anti-capitalist fronts. Alternative Libertaire wrote in January 2012 to all
anti-capitalist organizations, whether libertarian Marxists or decreasing. Only the NPA
and Alternative ... responded with skepticism.
The situation is different today and that's why we campaign. The idea should be
popularized and discussed as widely as possible, clearly explained to avoid false debate,
and we have to share local experiences.
