- The division is between exploiters and exploited: analysis of
election 2014 (it, pt) [machine translation]

"The first mistake, the most fatal, which weighed on humanity, was to have put the
government above society." ---- Pierre-Joseph Proudhon ---- The elections are over and
evidenced two capitalism management projects in Brazil. The dispute between PT and PSDB in
the electoral period was the toughest in history. But it is worth remembering (Brazilian
Anarchist Coordination, Monthly Elements 2014 ) that although PT and PSDB are not the
same, both are parties of the bourgeois order vying for device management and capital, not
a project of transformation of society. ---- Far from being the reflection of the popular
will, when we look at the Brazilian Congress what we see is actually the configuration of
forces that, apart from defending their own interests are at the forefront of capital
agendas. After all, the victorious political campaigns are overwhelmingly financed by
large companies and represent interests of the bourgeoisie.
For the next term, beyond this scenario, we live with the advancement of the organization
of ultra-conservative right. This was the "result" of the people's democratic project EN
(and supported by its satellites), that instead of "massively advance class consciousness"
allowed the most reactionary forces could be organized better and move ahead
asymmetrically without a popular project that could bar them.

During the election period, some believe that participation in elections is a valid path,
or "complementary" to advance the agendas of / the workers / as. However, the electoral
process as well as being totally dominated by these economic and political powers,
legitimate conservatives mechanisms of the state and media oligopolies to the radical
changes in the system of domination structures are never realized. This may even allow a
Republican and moderate opposition from some leftist parties not governing, but never this
opposition will become acute as to put into question the current system. These parties
tend to moderate their agendas and speeches, and energy expenditure in popular struggles
almost ends up giving space to the race. After all, they end up legitimizing the electoral
process, pretending to be democratic with the presence of left inside. In this sense, we
do not share the strategy in which to occupy posts in the state (political organization of
the ruling class) can advance the people's power. The very EN having a "left of varnish"
is, in practice, ruling for and with just the right order to keep his government and
deepen exploitation and violence on the people. The PT is, in the current scenario, the
government shift of the ruling class, promising so for the next period what's worse to
workers. Just seeing the choice of Katia Abreu for the Ministry of Agriculture,
representative of the rural bourgeoisie and agribusiness, and the announcement of a
focused economic policy to meet market requirements. It is misleading to think that the PT
government can be disputed. The PT government was never in dispute , is a government
classes pact and will continue to remove workers' rights, to advance the agribusiness in
the field, to maintain military control in the slums, even play some "crumbs" of the
banquet in the form of access to credit policies (stimulating consumption).
You can not say, in our view, there is tactical dimension argument or defense of "critical
vote" because the polls are not the space of struggle. As we have seen, the essential in
the perpetuation of this system is secured and will not be changed by a vote . Many
agencies and international and national organizations will work independent of the elected
and are shielded against any "pressure" of the vote, which for him are not affected. To
get an idea, 42% of the public budget is already committed to the payment of interest on
the debt Pulica the financial speculative capital, and both applications were financed by
large contractors and banks. The PT and the PSDB even though projects with some distinct
characteristics and "symbolically" antagonistic, are within that political and economic
system. Thus represent two "modes" to the same content . It is not a being less bad (PT
Dilma) than the other (PSDB Aetius) but, different scenarios that present themselves and
that can only be addressed in the actual terrain of class struggle. This land is not the
dispute within the state, but the daily life of / the workers / as and their class
entities. They may even take turns from time to time, as the two major US parties
(Democrat and Republican), but in practice operate models of domination and exploitation,
say by the way, more and more alike.
We understand that this country is still divided into exploiters and exploited and that
will be no government of the order, together with the bourgeoisie, which will cause it to
change. The re-election won by PT will not change this course. Nothing conquer without
building and strengthening structures and social organizations of popular and permanent.
Structures such as the PT, it is worth remembering, for decades has helped to weaken and
bureaucracy. Therefore, it is necessary to build, from what already exists, the basis of
future society.
The changes that were tested came all the streets and only then, presents a way out left
for the next period under the PT government. But this can only be done if we have popular
movements, trade union bodies and organizations and well organized peasant movements and
have objective guidelines intervention in reality (education, health, housing, land etc),
so that the streets are not emptied and depoliticized . It is important to strengthen
already an alternative to methods and practices autonomous and independent of the
government and parties.
The dimensions of the power go far beyond the elections, so we do not seek to find the
polls the solution to social ills, but in the streets and daily struggles of women, blacks
and LGBTTs, the favela, the union, in the field and in universities, it is from these
struggles and spaces that started building the free world that we dream. That every member
understands the importance of strengthen combative and autonomous movements, or we risk
continue complaining about the bureaucratization of reformism and the elections, in the
same ritual of choosing the "least worst".
It is essential to rebuild and create union grassroots groups that can break the
governismo with bureaucracy and overcome the authoritarian practice of turning these class
entities in "transmission belts" of vanguards and party lines. You need to move forward
according to the context and class consciousness that presents itself, but without a
popular class power project and independent of governments, repeat the mistakes that led
much of the left who fought in the popular movements, decades ago, to take today the place
of duty explorers.
